Nice although 243 is not my favorite cal I'm sure used within its limits it's a fine cartridge. The Lupo is an absolutely beautiful rifle, I loved my one I had in 30 06. Look forward to hearing about it.
What's your setup ? Optics, rings, suppressor etc ? Feel free to share some pics

    Welcome back Lopo
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Yea its my first smaller caliber hunting rifle but I have heard great things from mates but shot placement is important on bigger animals.
I have a burris full feild 4 scope which has a little illuminated dot in the centre and leopold rings.
    And a dbt suppressor.

.243 gets used 2 ways..precise brain/neck shot or smack them in shoulder/chest with a 1100grn soft point and keep freezers filled. back before suppressors tamed just about everything down they had a large following... its still as good as it always has been at just killing stuff dead without fuss....shhhhh dont let my .270w know I said that.

Funny how your mind works 'Lupo' - definition of a wild dog sprung immediately to mind.
And hot on the heals was 'sawn off shotgun' ............... wow this dude's an interesting mongrel ?

And then I looked up 'sawn of shotgun' (cos I was wondering) and discovered I'd got it wrong, as that definition was 'Lupara' (Sicilian or something)

And now I have a third definition - Bergara Lupo ....... my mind's becoming cluttered

    WTF's an 'orly' ?

    Welcome

They have started a foray into bolt action hunting rifles, and they have done an amazing job of it, think of a hunting rifle that can be custom fitted with shims and spacers out of the box, has a recoil reduction system (that actually works), is super slick like a Sako and points like a well tuned shotty then you're getting close to how awesome the "Lupo" or "wolf" is. Do some homework there has been a lot of research and development gone in to them. As you can tell.....I'm a fan
