    Post Token Introductory post!

    G'day everyone - I'm Sam. Based in Taranaki. I've been lurking the forum for a while and thought I would introduce myself before posting. I'm mad on hunting and fishing. Obviously lots of fishing opportunities in Taranaki, but the hunting you certainly have to have the contacts. Do plenty of fishing trips out of New Plymouth but also Mokau and down to Patea when the weather and work allows.

    I've started out hunting deer with my trusty .243 but now wanting to get my bigger caliber sorted and hopefully lock in a couple of South Island trips once normality resumes! Love duck shooting too but that's usually more about the social side of it.

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
