Red face First crack with my new camera

Went on a day trip on Friday with the goal of getting some cool pics of some animals with my new camera I bought 2nd hand off the forum. Had the perfect morning, getting to within 120m of a bull tahr, buck chamois (looks like a buck to me anyway) and a nanny at about 70m. Took the nanny for some meat so was a successful trip. Thought I would share some pics.
On a side note, I was in this area about 2 months ago and saw a black chammy very similar to this one running around with the tahr as thought it was one of the family. Skip to Friday and I find the exact same thing in nearly the same gully. I'm sure its the same animal that has just befriended a couple tahr - is it normal for them to hangout together? And I mean these guys were 5m from eachother at some points

Chamois with the Tahr will be a young Buck, they get kicked out of the family groups and then wander around aimlessly trying to figure life out, often exhibiting strange behavior. As a rule they won't generally co exist together but groups will often encounter each other on their travels.

    Nice one.
I’ve been learning to shoot my DSL fully manual the last few months.
I’d like to get a tripod next and remote, so I don’t have to use posts and things to sit the camera on when the light is poor.
