If you're just wanting to store online for your own use from various devices, rather than sharing on forums etc, then something like Dropbox is probably the way to go. Designed for storing your own files for access from anywhere, rather than for posting to share with others. Bit more secure than photobucket etc

It cost a small amount to increase the amount of storage.

Google drive for me, oodles of space and apps that work on Apple products to enable you to upload, free, can access from any pc anywhere.

The good thing about Apple is they make it as idiot proof as possible, that's why I use there shit-I know its not the best but it does what I need without much fluffing around.

Cloud storage needs to be secure and stable if you want long term storage-Apple will do this as well as anyone, and while there is a cost there would also be a cost for any other worthwhile competition.

It also pays to back up on a hard drive just in case-we have one that does it automatically whenever our devices are charging and on our home wifi, don't even have to think about it

If you are going to be moving photos around don't do what I did - have the GPS function in my camera (tablet) turned on!
I have emailed off photos (to friends) of rifles and have since checked those photos and found I took them with GPS on which pinpoints to anyone who gets hold of them my exact location/the location of the guns. Depending upon what photo viewer you use at the very least they show the co-ordinates and some viewers actually show a wee map. Have since turned off GPS in my camera and have edited what I have with Exif to remove the pesky details. Don't know what security exists when uploading to the likes of Photobucket or even posting them on the likes of this forum - whether the data can be viewed by others.

Are you using the app ? Must admit all the editing I've done on docs and spreadsheet have been on the pc. But the app for the ipad works a treat for me for uploading and downloading stuff.
