    Pretty cool moment watching a chamois

    Hey guys. Just thought I'd share a nice shot I got of a chamois on a hunt end of last winter. Was a pretty bloody awesome moment in the silent snowfall just both looking around. Didn't take a shot. Just let him be.

    Hunting is definitely not just about shooting animals!! There’s something so satisfying in watching an animal walk away that you could’ve shot, none the wiser for it.

    Very nicely done. The photo conveys an awful lot of 'ambiance' to anyone who has been in the hills in similar circumstances.

    Bloody hell that looks cold. Cool photo though.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Here is a different frame of the same thing, we did a fair bit of climbing and midnight river crossings on that hunt but came away with a result. Were a bloody lucky bunch to hunt in NZ!
