    Cerakoting

    Hi all,

Hopefully this is the right place for this post.

I’ve developed a bit of a Cerakoting hobby over the last year. My original plan was to only do my own firearms and car parts but started coating items for mates, then even the occasional job for people as word got out. I’ve nearly finished doing all my own stuff but still have quite a bit of product left hence this post.

Rifle or shotgun receiver, barrel and bolt $200-300 includes necessary disassembly (I’m an ex-armourer so I like to think I’m fairly capable). I can do stocks and some patterns using stencils for an additional cost. Already disassembled and cleaned would be at the lower end of the bracket if not slightly less. Can discuss this and other items further. Could potentially negotiate better pricing for repeat customers. As I also have a full time job, turn around time is typically a week or two.

As a counterpart to a friends business I have been doing automotive parts for him such as manifolds and turbo housings. Happy to consider other parts too.

Most metal and plastic materials can be Cerakoted. I just have to adjust the curing temperature to suit.

These are the colours I currently have. I can order other colours direct from Cerakote in the US but it will be at the customers expense.

    Items I will not/cannot accept:

    - Excessively dirty firearms (Cerakoting is the hobby, cleaning not so much).
    - Items too big to fit in my sandblaster or curing oven.
    - Scopes (at this stage).
    - Firearms that require endorsement

Would prefer to avoid the shipping side of things as too much admin. Sorry.

I’ve attached some before and after images of items that I have done in the past.

Please ask if uncertain about anything.

I've got a Browning Stainless Stalker. Could you do the barrel and receiver on that??

I've always been very aware that it is very bright in the bush. I wrap it in camo tape but it's a pain in the arse. Holds water etc and the stainless will rust no matter what people say.

I'm the current owner of that little Remington 700, couldn't be happier with the cerakote job he did on it. Have had it soaking wet in the rain, and bashed around hunting, not a sign of wear or flaking on it, will definitely be back for more!

I can confirm that the work is impeccable. Collected a 300WSM rifle today and the job was to the highest standard and very well priced. Highly recommend this man's skills. Tim
