    338 Lapua Ackley improved

Well its finally ready to go to it's new home after an extremely long time due to circumstances outside my control

Fluted UM True-Flite, 1-10, 28" barrel, T3 Terminator muzzle brake, McMillan Edge Tech A3, Defiance Deviant Lapua .750 bolt action, Timney trigger, extended mag box.

It has one of my load development VX III LRs on it.

The Defiance action is VERY nice.

Shoots pretty good for a windy day, gusting 5-15 MPH today, best group shown, had a few with two in one hole & the wind or me taking the other

Good things take time apparently, just generally not this much time...

Big bullet going quite fast leaves a big hole for it to bleed out.

Looking at that I can understand why meat hunters favour the neck shot.
