Cheaper by the dozen....Have been in pursuit of the above rocking horse shit mags for a while now.Even attempted a half arse go at building one myself. Followed up on a PM from @jakewire mentioning an aussie outfit doing all manner of CNC machined billet ally aftermarket mags. Home - watersrifleman.com
Having developed the more common in demand mags, he's now getting onto the more obscure mags if demand warrants tooling up.
And that brings me to the M55 (& others) order.Evidently enough aussie demand was established to kick it off.Tooling,prototype,& product teething issues sorted, he's now taking forward orders on the first production run of the M55 @ A$202.00 each plus shipping.I,ve ordered 2 myself and that has brought his price back to A$195.00. This fella is into wheels and deals & will cut us a deal on bulk purchase unit price and shipping costs.

I lent Dave my rifle in .17 Rem to use in this project to get the magazine dimensions right. The feedback on his long t3 .223 mags is pretty good.

I have a 6rd Tikka 223 mag from him, he does tens as well
Over 2yrs now, not a single fail to feed,
Follow the simple build instructions and you'll be fine.

I note they are testing a ten rounder for the Tikka 595. That would be brilliant.

I have a 10 round .223 and a 6 round .308 magazine from Dave Waters.

Both excellent.

Is the $195 for a 10 round mag?

No the M55 is only being released in 6 round @ this stage,

Apparently there is an 8 shot .308 size under development also.. Nice
