    I prefer them, taste way better but the back country yogurt stuff is bloody nice

    Sorry Mate... they cant do because of customs etc... They only supply to one person over there who takes care of all the customs stuff and by the sounds of it, It will be a nightmare to arrange and cost more that the food is worth unless you are looking at a full 40ft container at a time!

    Na not as big but tastes a bit more like food
    I had a back country one last roar that even the lab wouldn't eat when I threw it out the tent door.

    Ha Ha you must have cooked it wrong!
    It would have to be friggin bad for a lab not to eat it!
    I have only had a couple back country meals and didn't think much of them but they were once all you could get and I didn't know any better. The army used to issue freeze dried food that I reckon would have been better eaten without rehydrating it. It was shocking stuff.

    Is that the Nelson one? haven't tried it but my sister has and reconed it was pretty good.

    For 3-4 day trips I'd sooner carry the extra weight of a Kaweka meal actually. Plus they sell at the local NW for about 5 bucks
