I have never been a fan either of broad beans, but I followed a recipe and they turned out pretty good. Boiled for a few mins, half mashed with lemon juice and garlic, rest mixed thru with mint and parmesan cheese and typed with crispy fried salami.. it's a pasta recipe but went good as a side. Heaps in the garden so trying different ways to eat them... prefer a venison back steak but my hunting skills leave alot to be desired..

Now that sounds good, but why don't you just not plant them?
That same recipe but with potatoes instead of broad beans,. Softer taste, fish. Interesting.
Maybe bacon or lardons...
