    Need advice on how to best cook a pheasant with out r%%ting it

    As the title says, I finally got my pheasant now how to I prepare it with out ruining it.

    All advice gratefully accepted

    I heard you hang by the head till it drops on the ground then if the dog doesn't eat it put it in a pot of water with a rock to hold it down and boil till the rock goes soft then eat the rock

    May is suggest keep it simple.

    Pluck the bird. Stuff the bird. Season the bird. Roast the bird. 190 I find a good temp for poultry and game bird roasting.
