Ok Mr Atkins, calm down. Suggest you substitute red wine for vegetables as per @outdoorlad.

    Happy now?

Disagree. My favourite ....sorry second and third favourite pies will be bloody awful with peas....Custard pie (2nd) and Mallow puff pie (3rd). Mallow puff pie is shortcrust pastry like an apple pie with a filing of marshallows, chocolate (sauce or chunks) Jam to cut through the sweetness and crushed biscuit chunks for bulk and texture....serve hot with either caramel custard or ice cream depending on season....Or with both if extravagance is required....

.. (Favourite is Steak and cheese and I prefer that without peas as well.....)

Custard pie is .............................viable with peas.

I will concede it won't be great, but .....viable.

Yep, definitely a quiche once the peas and other shit goes into it.
Bacon an egg pie is just that: bacon an eggs. End of.
