    Aimpoint H1 Low Mount for Marlin 336

    Just wanted to share a few pictures of a low profile Aimpoint H1 mount I built for my Marlin 336 with a 16” barrel. The H1 lends itself well on a handy little lever gun. I went as low as I did with the mount to ensure a decent check weld, something that can the be a struggle with conventional optics.

    Very nice, I have been thinking about doing this for a cheap chinese red dot I have and putting it on a cheap chinese pump shotgun and see which one lasts longer.

    Thats interesting, I've just gotten hold of an old marlin and was going to put a 2-7 scope on
    Can you give some more details about this please, cost, how many moa the dot is etc,.
