    I have seen a chrysler V8 block turned into a heater . Had a few small lpg gas flames around the inside . I was sitting in a takeaway place in Invercargill .....sheeeeit must have been getting on 40 years ago now .
    I did once suggest one of my rover V8 blocks might make a cool table .....but the look I got left me in no doubt my artistic concept was going to remain just that .

    I saw a .50 BMG at an auction once and thought it would look cool under a sheet of glass (coffee table)
    But at $18k and the fact it needs to be locked away... kinda ended that dream.
