Cool - what's the plan from here?
This thread is relevant to my interests
That hammer you got there is the problem......not big enough :)
Full tile wet floor, hinged glass between toilet and shower, tile walls.

If you are putting a bath (or a shower tray) in , here's a tip
Once it is all connected up and doesn't leak and before you put the front panel on, fill it with water and spray expanding foam underneath. Let it set overnight and when set it will support your weight evenly and not squeak
The best bathroom reno takes place when there is a spare bathroom to use in the meantime..
Are you doing the whole job yourself ?
Just bought a shower mixer,$287,I asked where's the shower bit,thats another $229 faaaark,got a free pizza but:(Attachment 58619
before you line the walls put in heaps of fixings for toilet roll holders, towel rails, shower doors etc. then draw a map of all the fixings ,studs and dwangs on every wall. only takes a sec , and it helps when you decide later to mount some extra stuff on the wall. pretty much every bathroom I do has something extra chucked on the wall as an afterthought.
Anotherhunters ideas of noting where timber is has been superseded... Take lots of pictures and print them out

Things are mooooving along, just ordered $1800 of tiles.(there go's another Sako)won't be here till end of next week.Time to gib out and waterproof.
The project manager thinks it should be finished by now:sick:
Buy a Methven Satinjet shower head, awesome units, can buy them with rail and hose off TMe for about $160.00,
Good news about the scan. Hunt went well.
Worth putting hardies over the chipboard before tileing
Nice work, any permits or anything needed? Love the idea of that style shower/bathroom
Yeh like the boys said. Hardies on floor. Or two layers. Better yet compressed sheet to replace flooring
TickAttachment 58841waterproof tomorrow and sort out under tile heating.

I don't want to be a plasterer any more:(
Looking good.
A bit more progress and a lesson,Don't think you are an electrician :O_O:
Attachment 59543The original plan was to take the wiring up to a socket in the garage wall,(bathroom and garage on RCD)behind shower outlet(post 24)once the screed was done it became more obvious this would not work (thermostat pickup)post 30 shows draw wire.
So!,heated towel rail feed will do,trip RCD,try the hair dryer, nada! Dismantle heated towel rail, cover ends of wire with insulation tape, poke a small hole in wall, spend 1/2 hour catching draw wire, paint on waterproofing, clean up,turn on.""..no,hang on towel rail wires are taped, lightbulb, put the switch in minus towel rail :o:O_O::x_x::wtfsmilie: sneaky, nastie, unseen biteies.
The FN towel rail is on the Kitchen lights FFS
That man deserves a DB
You haven't put the hand and foot holds in for the shitter on the left?:wtfsmilie:

Happy feet,next winter:thumbsup:
Those wired mirrors are cool - they gently heat the back of the mirror so that it doesn't steam up when shaving
Hey Madjon throw in another floor sensor. They cost f all but they can and do fail. I put two in on all my jobs so at lest if one goes west I've got the back up. Better that than go looking to add one after or worse lift tiles to replace old one.

Now what went where?;)
Looking great! Did you do the hexagons on the floor yourself?
