Thread: DIY Night Vision - Gen 2

Took my build for a walk. Conditions are: Half moon, clear sky, urban area, too much light pollution. Photos taken with my Galaxy S4. Photos are raw and unedited and are a poor representation of what my eyes see.

The PVS 4 housing came with a bracket attached that seem to mate up with an ACOG flat top mount. After getting the required screw and boring the hole in the mount out a lil, it worked perfect.



Pic taken in my garage with the door shut, some light leaking in during daytime. Could not see the items across the room on the shelves with my eyes.

Resolution looks a lot sharper with the naked eye. The gain is set as low as possible as photos just flare out.
