Thread: one year in

To a big project....
Over 600 sq meters so gonna take a while .......

Not bad, must have used a heap of green paint on the grass

Ha ha had to take out another mortgage for that . So far done 1 bedroom 1 lounge a kitchen 1 bathroom, put in drainage (as we are on a flood plain) rewired, insulated, roofing over the next few days, halfway thru 2 more bedrooms a hallway and another bathroom. then theres landscaping and fencing. I'm sure theres more but just can't think of it, (the wife will when I look like I'm gonna relax).

Im renoing a small house, it sucks, you my mate are crazy all the best

It sure was a big job! Had so much potential though. I'm sure you'll make something fantastic out of it

Yea everything bigger than normal.. 4.5m stud , the main lounge which only needs rewiring and lighting is as big as my last house..and the garaging, well 270 squares. don't think I will ever go back to tiny (average home) living

Theres a modern house in the way now ..... maybe an excuse to buy a drone? I did a video walk thru when we first moved in and will do one when we finish, then I will try and find said before video and weld them together. was a cheese factory till the fifties

Yea I hate boring modern houses no character ..... I should mention the original photo was taken in 1916 there have been additions since then to make it bigger
