I am going to say no it will be hollow and foam filled but could stand to be corrected - you could grind the cheekpiece off and fiberglass over the top but that stock is forever buggered properly - I mean really bubbaed take a lot of value of rifle - no look around for a cheap second hand stock and bubba that - then when and if you sell you have a decent original

Just grab it and experiment with it? It will at least let you know how its structured and give you ideas how to attack your one....

I would be tempted to remove the cheek piece, cutting it off along the lines of a classic stock. Then find a cheap plastic stock from any classic style stock, and cutting a piece to cover it, leaving about 10-15mm of overlap, slip it on the top over the hole you've created in your stock. Make sure it fits and looks the part, then glue it on. Will only be the 4-5mm thick, will have the look of a cheek piece, but wont be. Then drill a small hole somewhere out of the way and send some aerosol foam in to the cavity created when you took off the original cheek piece.
