    Scope Torque Screwdriver

    Anyone got one of these to save me shelling out for one? I'd pay for postage both ways.

    Failing that anyone know a cheap source?

    Yup, I have one. Do all rings on my scopes at 15" lbs and never had a problem. You don't really need one if your rings are true and your not ham fisted.😆

    Your local hunting store should have one if its half decent. I can tell you there isn't any in Napier , my Minox got crushed last month by a shop a.

    Our torque drivers are pre-set to 1Nm, though I always like to give them an extra tweak with an Allen key.

    Kind of defeats the purpose of the torque driver?

    I use glue! Go to the electrical wholesalers there is a new range of screw drivers out with a torque attachment, they look good for this type of work. I'm in VCs camp!
