    Tricky Extractor Remake

Now this was a challenging little item to make, it's an extractor for an old French military rifle, so lucky to had an original to copy.

Not something I want to make too many more of ha ha ha

Have a good weekend all, I will now I have this bugger done :-)

I am always in awe of the guys who machined the original version of that part - probably in a dimly-lit factory with exposed belts driving big machinery , making lots of noise - and not a single Worksafe inspector to be seen.....

Oh yes the Berthier .. tell him not to single feed it as it is prone to breaking extractors when it snaps over the case in the chamber.... you must use the manlicher clips to feed them

Yep one step ahead of you, but thanks for the heads up anyway. And yes I think Berthier, not as I said Label, in my defense I was only given the bolt, never saw the gun.

    Cheers
