Thread: FSA - data and human error. it's a recipe for disaster

now that space craft,been out here for 40 plus years and two weeks ago some numpty pushed the wrong button and has cut off comms
we arent going to make it as a species are we??

To be fair, most of the people that built that are now dead and the knowledge behind driving it is a VERY limited skillset now. The storage on the thing is apparently about the equivalent of 4% of a smartphone, so they have to send new programming out line by line of code. To get this far without a whoops is actually something of a miracle!

forsure but after 40 years of doing it ...one would think it would be almost carved in stone what to do....
