    Yep HUNTS course run by NZDA groups are well worth it for the newbies.
    There was a ploytech course in pest management, dont know much about it sorry.
    Join a club, if you do get involved in the club.

    Forgot to mention. Go to range Days and organised NZDA and other shooting club events. I personally have learned alot from attending these type of events. You learn about shooting over distance and you learn your rifle at the same time.
    Go to Gillace Run shooting competitions, Tarata, Hihitahi etc they are worth it for learning skill @Gillie
