If the verdict is a guilty and the confiscation is confirmed by the courts the evidence will either be sent to the Police armoury or destroyed once the appeals are exhausted. It can't be destroyed until the decision and appeals are finished up. If it is destroyed prior to completion that becomes another issue for the courts - you can see this with cases like the Sounds murders where evidence is still held due to the controversial nature and continuing appeals and still being examined. Even though it's firearms the custody of evidence requirements still apply.

What Steyr? There is a bolt action that could be a Steyr on the right of the centre row, but no AUG. I am pretty sure the two 'flintlock pistols' are pot metal decor items, free to buy, own, and display by anyone.

Steyr HS .50 M1 on the far left
Steyr Elite on the middle row right between shotguns.

A lot of money in this collection, they should auction the legal ones back. But they won't.

odds on for a conviction given the nature of that collection and 99.9%certainty his FAL is a goner (in perpetuity).

then we get some wee spotty herbert blokes with angle grinders and a carton of cutting wheel start em up and into it to the old country music favourite and NZFA theme sond "oh .its grinding time again lets get cutting, always make you pieces nice and short, naughty people once did own these,we make em now so they cant be bought .
from there i guess its glenbrook steelmill and next time you pick up a can of catfood itllbe contained in recycled firearms.

Yeah the HS .50 M1. Not the little hunting rifle - they are nice and accurate with some handy design touches if very synthetic.

I disregarded that, my bad! I have owned 4 .50 cals but they were all M2's (different kettle of fish altogether).

Well the good old FAR on news again tonight

.Despite the dopey cow from gun control batting her eyelids and saying how it was working the reporters stats showed exactly opposite

LFAO confidence in police =latest survey result 1.3/10

    gun crime soaring .

Nicolee Mckee spoke and she was blunt and to the point -its going to have a very bloody intense eyeball mk1 cast over it as its presently could be deemed Not fit for purpose in a lot of eyes.

Also she made no bones -take it out of police hands and makeke it stand alone entity -might restore a bit of shooters faith in it !

As for the above -suppose which geriatric beak hes arraigned before .one gave a 70%sentance discount on major drug charges today .-still got a holiday in the grey concrete version of holiday camp though.
