    hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

just looking on F/B-apparently the boys in blue raided 3x new lynn properties in auckland.licensed FAL but lots of "illegal"(per buyup) weapons 35 in total seized plus 15,000,000 rounds ammo and some other illicits .FAL revoked .cops any one offending like this we will take a tough stance -pity same couldnt be said for gangs.

guess its a wait and see outcome.

Every article about the police these days ends in the police are committed to holding people to account, shouldn't even be needed to be said should it?? thought it would be a given...

Looking at the picture briefly, I see mostly pump actions, bolt actions and break opens with a few rimfire looking semi auto in the front. There are a few I cannot identify which may be MSSA but nothing stands out to ome. The pistols could be an issue if they aren't airguns or ornamental...

And 15,000 rounds is not that much if he owned all of those- 3 or 4 slabs of shotgun 6-8 bricks of 22LR when its on special and there is 5000 just like that...

There is a higher resolution image on the police website for gun spotters

Pure speculation but there seems to be a few prohibited firearms (former A Cat semis which were never required to be registered), AR15 varients, L1A1, Beretta CX4, AK with thumbhole stocks. Also a few semi auto shotguns with mag extensions.

Interesting there are also former E cats rifles which should have been registered under the old system, including a couple of AR's, a G3 (unless c cat) and a LMT.

Most likey also had prohibited magazines.

The MP5 looks like an airsoft with a gas fitting in the pistol grip.

Bit of money there though, namely the Steyr HS50 with S&B scope.

So, in conclusion, does this mean the new Firearms Registry system is working? Or is not working?
