It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
There are good points here from both views when we stay on track. I guess another angle I'm looking at it from is I want to keep my fal and it may not be my actions that causes me to loose it, If a fal holder fuks up bad enough there will be consequences for all of us as we have seen. There are people out there who would love nothing more than to see us all have our licenses and firearms taken away for good we all know that. In my opinion if we let people with proven voilent and disregard for the law and other peoples rights tendency's its only going to be a matter of time before something snaps and the inevitable happens. Not saying there is but its not totally out of the question that plans could already be it the pipeline, as we have all seen before, it may not even be a voilent offence it could be a straw buyer scenario that we hear about and the media will be having a field day with it and its not going to be one person comitting the crime, it will be spun that its all fal holders. When It comes to firearms Im going to err on the side of caution....
may be sarcastic may be a bad joke

Here's a thought exercise. Think of it like the trolley problem.
Who here would be ready to give up their firearms license if that's what had to happen for this guy not to have his?
I didn't do what he did, so why would me giving up my licence have any bearing on what happens with his licence?
I mean if you are saying that there was a magical swappsies of licences where you could provide your untainted one for his tainted one, then yeah sure, no fuckin way I would give mine up. But I don't live close to him. The risk of his reoffending in this scenario where it would impact on me or anyone I know is minimal. If I lived next door to him I may consider it.
