    It would be interesting to see the statistics of the theft of B/C/E catagory firearms in recent years.It would seem that the current level of security is not enough though.

    Realistically any amount of security can eventually be circumvented with enough time, equipment and desire.
    We are just more likely to read or hear about it these days when it does happen.

    Given time and knowledge, ANYTHING can be stolen.

    I would welcome such statistics on all categories of firearms. What is also often (not always) not reported / known, is the exact level of security or circumstances for each case.

    As has been stated, if criminals want something badly enough - they will get it. I can attest to this based on bitter personal experience despite employing security methods which would otherwise be regarded as illegal in this country.
