We as Kiwis have a large amount of public land with minimal rules and restrictions so the need for owners permission isn't necessary.
There you can have vast swathes of land owned by someone with no public land as such.
Or you have public land on parks e5c and they have varying levels of access to none/never to yes you can but you need to do a test every few years at several hundred bucks a pop to get a permit.
The reading material for the test is something like 60 pages long.
That's for NSW anyway
That is the difference, there is no public land hunting in WA.
