I've recently moved and currently keep all my guns at my workplace rather than at home, and I've let them know that, and they have booked an inspection. All guns are in A-Cat compliant safes/cabinets. I don't really want nor need any guns stored at home.
I've also started my licence renewal application, but it appears from the on-line application form, and the correspondence they've sent, that I MUST have approved storage at home, even if I have no guns there.
Further, it appears from the drop-down menus to describe storage at non-residential, that A-Cat compliant doesn't cut it. Safes have to be at least 6mm steel construction.
Anyone got experience, having gone through the process of licence renewal with a different secure location other than their residence?
