Test passed, technically 28 but really it was 30!

So did the safety course today and passed, annoyingly with a 28/30 score. Dropped one question because I identified the correct answer C then had a brain fart and scrubbed off answer A 🤦🏻*♂️

Even more annoying, answered another question correctly but the callouses on my hand partially scrubbed another answer, so that gets marked as a wrong answer too!

The "foil" covering the answers is clearly made out of wet toilet paper 🧐
But it's a pass, so just the vetting, interview and gun cabinet inspection to go......confess to being "slightly excited" 🤣

Indeedy, even just one gun has an attendant amount of accessories required, case, sling, cleaning gear etc etc, fortunately I've already got the rest of the outdoor gear! I wonder how many people buy a "cheap" first rifle and then spend another couple of grand getting ready to go use it

My gun safe is made out of 6mm steel plate, 3 locks bolted to a concrete floor and 6" wall....and it's hidden in a void in the building, so unless you know where to look you'll never find it, Ymo is safe but there's still a small number of undesirables

Good advice, I've secured a Franchi Horizon .243 which licensed friends are collecting and storing for me until my FAL arrives. Timing slightly off but too good a deal to walk past, especially with the Burris Fullfield E1 3-9x40 scope....so possibly it's too late for me
