Thread: Tikka T3 going off by itsself

let us know what the result is, always good to hear the reason why once the issue is solved...

It happened once with my Savage Model 16, thankfully I was at the range alone that day. Its never done it since and it was one of my early reloads so could have been something I did.

As above, trigger retaining screw can loosen on the T3's. It's worth applying a bit of medium strength threadlocker (loctite 243 or similar) to this screw.

Done the same with mine,dot of locker.
