Yeah, I'm kinda thinking the same - as long as I can before an activating event or I time out on a renewal as I suspect I'm going to have a few fun phone calls too. "A what?"

I've not read the previous 21 pages so apologies if this has been said multiple times before...

I have a Norinco 22 rebranded as an Outdoor Arms JW-15S.

Outdoor arms does not exist as a manufacturer in the list, and JW-15S does not exist as a model (JW-15 and JW-15A do).

    Sigh.

Anyway, registered it as a Norinco JW-15 and emailed them to tell them the above.

(It crosses my mind that they make liars out of you, just to conform to their regs...)

In future make sure you screenshot any inaccuracies and highlight them, maybe attach them to your email.

Oh, and neither did it have an entry for my Bergara Hunter Extreme, which is now branded as an Extreme Hunter (because it sounds better?).

So that got registered as a B14... Dang.

I have a H&R Sportster .17hmr but they don’t list that option so I rang up about it to get registered exactly right. Was funny that they give a reference number they want you to quote but when I rang up they didn’t want to know about the reference number.

One positive is that if they list the model but not your calibre when you look it up, as advised by them you select one of the right model and then just change the calibre in the form.

I had a real me account set up a while ago which made it easier. Takes a bit to set that up

Finished mine last night, worked it out in the end although they haven't verified my license against my account and I submitted that form a few weeks ago.

Yes that is all the normal process You should only have to do the photo once, when verifying your real me account

You don't need a verified realme account, just a basic one is enough to get into the register. I created a fresh one in a few easy steps.

My god. The database just full of rubbish already, the chumps. When I tried to find a match for an old single barrel 12 ga Champion, I get a choice of a single shot, or an 8 shot! Since when did Iver Johnson ever produce an 8 shot break-action single barrel shotty?

Likewise, the Walther Running Boar, is a bolt-action, I know, because I have one. But apparently, they’re a break-action…

10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.

And even Running Boar I think is incorrect. Should come up with something like UIT-Moving Target or LGR-LFD-Scheibe.
(Although one of the translations for ScheiBe is "shit" but in this case it could be "disk".)

So if you enter wrong details in the register as some of you have had to, what happens when the blue team knock on your door for an inspection and firearms they have a list of that you registered aren't there and there are other ones that aren't registered are there? whos keen to be the guinea pig..
