    so a suppressor is ok ....or more specifically if i take a rifle into DPT to get threaded and have suppressor fitted does it trigger the countdown to register all firearms i own?
    i know it says when you buy an arms item but i cant see a list of what qualifies as an arms item....... probably keeping it vague on purpose

    If we have it for less than 30 days it is not a triggering event.
    This is talked about in the above video.

    But assuming you still need to record details of the rifle in your dealers book?

    Yes, as we did (and as the law required) before the register came in.
