What is wrong with people?
If this isn't proven to be just media hype, Ya have to ask. How did any of these people get a licence?

Wow - just wow.
If this is true wouldnt the gunshop owner report these idiots? Sure they might not come back and spend their money but you reduce your risk of getting shot over the counter.
There is really no excuse for it.
Several incidents are claimed in the last week.
See what drinking pond scum does @Rushy😆

Gunworks has a sign at the door stating any bolt actions must have the bolts removed and semis and lever actions must have the actions opened. I expect they have the sign for a reason.
The article quotes police saying the FAL holders in question can expect to lose their FAL. So they should, as they've also transported a loaded firearm. Idiots.
Maybe the gun shop should be taking the same measures as Robbie T - force the gun owner to demonstrate the firearm is safe b4 handing it over. No more or less than I expect when someone hands me a firearm.
I dont believe it. I think some advertising was needed for a quiet Jan. 5 in 1 week, I dont think so.
I used to hang out in a gun shop for my lunch hour as I was mates with the owner. In that hour I used to witness some dumb shit done by customers and firearms. Marching in off the street, bolt in & action closed waving it around carelessly etc etc. Needless to say they got an abrupt telling off. Hate to say it but cockies were some of the worst :pissed off:
I don't even understand how.....
What happened to opening the bolt so all can see it is unloaded before passing a firearm to someone.
And wouldn't you remove the bolt before taking the rifle into a shop.
I think by law you are meant to remove the bolt and mag well transporting a firearm.
What dumb F------.
I was in a shop recently and some pig hunter brings in a lever Rossi saying it's malfunctioning, locked partway open. Staff member starts twiddling with it, trying to free it up. Has a good play for a few minutes before the dude casually mentions that the mag is full and it may have one chambered. FFS wouldn't you mention that first off?!
You should work on a dodgy politicians campaign team😆
