there is a layout at hut valley but it doesn't get used now which is a shame. wanganui also had traps whichthey are trying to sell . me and a mate are keen to buy them.
the main places to shoot trench now is waitemata, waikato, canterbury and balfour. very few people actually chase it which is a shame as trench and issf skeet are what is shot in all other countries worldwide excluding nz, aus, sa and Britain basically....
gets put in the two hard basket for most.
everyone should give it a try!

I might shoot it if I'm back in time and can get my gun sent up from Nelson

They were shooting Trench out at the Hutt last time before I went to work ~8 weeks ago

I'm a sporting shooter , but I did shoot some Trench awhile ago for the first time .
I got done like a dogs dinner .
It is hard ,and nothing like boring old DTL .
Everyone should try it at least once .

Doubt I'll get out to shoot it this weekend and if I did I don't think I could stay awake - 9 hrs sleep in 3 days doesn't work too well for me lol

Couldn't do me a favor and grab a rubbish bag of empty hulls could you? need to load a bunch if rabbit ammo for the autos and don't want to throw AAs all over the countryside

I've shot trench at the Balfour club, they included it in a club shot. I think they backed the springs off abit but it was great fun IF you could see the target..........
