    Side by side

    Hi all, I have just been given a ibargun eibar side by side, just trying to find its age etc
    Has the numbers 12-70 and I'm guessing the serial number is 83299

    12-70 means 12gauge 2 3/4" chamber.
    It is unlikely to be steel proofed.

    consult a gunsmith if you want to open the chokes up and use 2 3/4 inch steel in it

    plurry good shotguns....opening it to shoot steel is piece of cake to do....if its not done already..... and it will be a great gun for bunnies as it is either way.
