Been there with an untrained Boxer over the back fence, our bedroom backs onto that boundary....it barked at everything including its own shadow. It wasn't restrained, it roamed their property protecting its territory.
As a shift worker I found it intolerable.....the owners weren't worth discussing it with, they were part of the problem.

I finally rang Animal Control about the noise. You might be surprised if you do the same....I was, ....'cause the dog was known to them because of other complaints from neighbors. You may not be on your own in complaining.....it may go against the grain to do so, but you're entitled to some peace and quiet.
I'm sure they'd complain if you hosted the next CHC Forum piss up and rocked on till the early hours.
