    Dog friendly hunting top of the south

    Looks like I'm going to have a couple weeks free in June to go hunting for as long as I like (no work and the missus is overseas) only slight hiccup is I will have 3dogs. Know of a few places, seaward kaikoura, St James and the Leatham where dogs are allowed with a permit. Are there any other spots?

    Doc sight is a little tricky working out dog access and can't be bothered ringing all the individual office to find out.

    Damn! That is not the page I copied !
    If you go to the doc things to do/hunting page and choose an area, you then simply tick the drop down box that say Dogs allowed.

    I get a dog permit from the Nelson Region and one from the West Coast Region (Covers Murchison area). no Dogs in the Nelson lakes National park. Other places as per Pengys link
    All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.
