    Hearing protection for Dogs

I want to take the bum sniffer out shooting with me but don't want to damage his hearing. He's not a hunting dog, or retriever, I would just rather take him with, rather than leaving him at home. By shooting I mean load development / target shooting on private property.

Does anyone have any experience with different types of ear pro for dogs? Found anything that works better than other or things that I should stay well away from?

Suppress your rifle. Make sure they are behind you when shooting.

Suppressor is not an option with some of the vintage gear I shoot unfortunately.

Suppressor is the best option. But as long as dog is behind you they don't seem to mind the noise. Otherwise leave them in the ute. Depending on the dog, I reckon you could teach them to wear earmuffs without too much trouble

All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.
