18 month old Lab X GSP.
Bit of a unit at 33kg and is not a slouch(had him at 45km/h next to the truck yesterday). He is run purely as an indicating dog and i have done a little bush time with him but wanted to make sure he was solid before i took him bush properly which we are doing very soon. My first indicating dog but a mate who runs dogs seems to think i have done a reasonable job haha.

my dog was bred to be a pig-dog, he failed so the owner starved him down to 17kg and pretty sure he beat him as any sudden movement he would whimper. he also acts weird if he smelly wacky weed on someone so might be part of his beatings.
either was he is now 35kg and just a pet, but bloody hell he is very protective and i have seen what the jaws are capable off. he destroyed my alloy mountain bike!

@Gapped axe, my father always had the Aussie's in his rabbiting pack along with a spaniel and whippets ... then came the possum era and those little dogs, as you say, were totally awesome ... if you shot a possum and did not kill it properly and it fell to the ground, the old dog would grab the back end ... leaving the little bitch to attend to the front end ... just watching them put the fear of God up you!!!! Of course the pelt would be ruined by the time they finished ... they are both courageous and fearless ...
Addend ... we had a spaniel come to stay: translation was that the guy had no intention of ever coming back to get it ... it attacked the old Aussie, doing his cruciate ligament and the resulting incarceration for the old dog ... he obviously whiled away his time scheming on just he was going to deal with his victor ... on the day the vet gave him the all clear, and arriving home, the Aussie, snorted, put his stump tail up and trotted down to the kennel the spaniel was in ... the poor dog got an absolute hiding from the Aussie ... no stitches were required for the spaniel as the old dog had no canine teeth by then!!!Last edited by EeeBees; 02-10-2017 at 12:05 PM.

That's Tilly in my Avatar. Left her with Mum over the weekend and straight away she found and ate Rat Poison. Mum took her straight in and they managed to get her to vomit it all up, phew.
