She's got pretty long claws to hang on like that
Mimms manky old bitch can drive the quad, and ya sons' dog can go up the trees for the possums. That'd make a great team

I’m still learning how to post pics. Here’s Jess she’s a Jack Russell I use her for hunting deer and possums, she’s learning about goats aswell. Goes pretty well.

Not sure if anyone remembers my story about the feral pup we rescued. Tried to rehome her many times. She’s been very hard work but it’s paid off. She loves the bush, can’t even pick up the safe keys without her smashing her way into the house with excitement. She came with us last weekend and got to see her first deer. She’s very proud of the skin hanging outside. Took this photo when she was popping balloons in the paddock on the weekend.

Great cross @wsm junkie, you’ll have high hopes for good reason. The heading / deer dog crosses I’ve worked with in recent times have been excellent. Gotta put the time in though!

@Flyblown yeh I have do have high hopes. I've only had him a week but I feel I've chosen the right pup. He's very relaxed and not hyper and picks things up pretty quick...although he seems to be a bit slow when it comes to the cats.....if he bothers them when they're eating = swipe with the paw....annoy them when they're asleep = swipe.....and if the cat is swishing its tail with its ears back cos its pissed off - doesnt mean it wants to play
