Thread: Poodles as a deer dog

I have seen my brother using a foxie and a huntaway duck shooting.
The huntaway was a better swimmer but barked as they do when sent to pick up.
Mind you the ducks still came in they were used to farm dogs working all over the place.
Just wondering if the poodles hunt quietly.
The indicating I reckon you can pick up from any dog that something is there.
Are they used to flush birds or point and retrieve.
Have a photo of the weimaraner I had she lived to 18yrs.
Just to show some of what I say need not be taken with a grain of salt.
