Abe has done a bit of work for me and has also rebarrelled a rifle for my brother.

I sent my Model 7 to him for a diet, it came back 1 3/4lb lighter... Barrel & bolt fluted, new carbon stock bedded & pillared, rings fitted (required some customisation) and a carbon fibre supressor. Very happy with the end result and the regular updates & photos along the way.

Also sent my Sako vixen up for a relatively simple barrel chop & flute & supressor fitting... Turned out that there had been some very dodgy gunsmithing done when the barrel had been fitted (in Aussie) so Abe redid the barrel thread and rechambered it. Once again, very happy with the result.

Have 1 of Abes carbon 17hmr suppressor which is very quiet as well.

    That's enough trumpet blowing... :rolleyes::p

I think its a good idea Abe and ballsey! its not blowing your own trumpet, if hardy engineering did this earlier on they wouldnt be in buisness now because of the shitload of negative feedback they would have got! firms and companies do it all the time but its called TESTIMONIALS and its only the good stuff the other shit never makes it.

To true there Rob, I just think that the testimonials sent to the builder are better, who asks for feedback from clients on a public forum?
If you where that happy would you not off already told him?
But just my opinion, more the way it was worded.
Bet nothing negative gets this far

Go Tui man it takes a bit of guts to lay yourself wide open, and the negatives are a bloody good way to improve your performance. The positives are a deserved praise.
I know how how hardit is in your own bus to have satisfied customers, And there are many I like to send to my competitors, remember it is easy to build your bus on good quality existing customers who appreciate you and thier word of mouth is what it's all about

Get with the times man. Social dictates own your shit online or off. The fucking greenhorn shit going down with some big outfits when it comes to this is quite frankly embrassing.

Iv had some of Abes work from a back a way. Some a bit experimental and not all has gone to plan but he stood behind his work and any glitches have been sorted without hesitation. I see a big fat 7mm in my future

I dont know him from a bar of soap but this is the type of feedback that gives a new customer a bit of confidence to deal with him.

Yup! Had heaps done by Abe and like Sneeze, had a couple minor glitches and they were from trying some things I doubt have been done before.

He always sorted it and backed his work, no questions or dramas.
A very rare trait from trades people these days.
Have heaps more stuff in the pipeline for him to do as well.
    Very happy.

Abe has no ability to moderate what is posted here, good or bad, unlike other smiths cherry picking good testimonials for their websites and never hearing the negatives.

It's an Honest Feedback thread which personally I would love to see from all gunsmiths as there is a lot of shit work done.
