I have had a custom built by abe in 6.5-300 wsm based on a kimber, abe supplied everything from brass to barrel and even custom made my dies for me and the rifle was returned ready to go all load development done and shoots under 1/2 moa with three different loads.
To put it mildly i love this rifle, nothing to do with the build was a problem at all alot of gunsmiths didnt want to do the project as the stock needed to be opened out around the barrel channel to take a #4 contour no problem for abe though.
At the moment abe is fluting and suppressing my new Ar15 and fluting the bolt on my other kimber needless to say his work is great with quick turn around and he is also great to deal with and doesnt mind how many questions you have haha.
He has also just finished doing load development on my mates wsm and found it was slightly out of spec which was why we couldnt get it to shoot consistently, seen as my mate had just got married and a bit short of cash abe fixed the problem for FREE so overall great work and great guy to deal with cheers abe.

I had abe build me a 284 longranger built on a winny extreme weather to be honest I was a little scepticle with this back yard butcher lol. I first approached dean maisey who told me he had never heard of vulcan barrels and thought they sounded like shit and wouldnt touch it . So a little hesitant i sent it to abe with my list of demands. His pricing was exceptional and around a grand cheaper than I had been quoted else were.
He sent me pics of the process did deals to get me cheap lapua brass just generaly went the extra mile.
When he sent me a text of velocities of the ladder test and told me the ladder shot within an inch i was getting excited.
Then he shot it at range and sent me a pic of a 3.4 inch group.......@ 734 meters I DID FUCKIN BACKFLIPS, but also thaught to myself we will see.
Anyway got it back and shot an inch group at 400 and I find it hard to shoot an inch at 100 haha.
Then last weekend had the boys out to show off my toy
Put a target out at 643 meters dialed in and Gong! Then all the boys had a go includung my mates 14yr old son all first shot hits. A couple misses out of 20odd rounds and we went picked up the target all the shots that hit were within a 5-6 inch radius i didnt measure but it wasnt a big area that was four different shooters and only two of us actually shoot . Now that may be a coincidink but i was flabbergasterd it is the most accurate rifle ive ever shot or owned.
And that all aside abe knows im not rolling in cash and let me organise a payment scheme just a fuckin good cunt.
    Cheers abe.

Abe put the metal work together on my .260 and he did a great job. Rifle shoots quarter inch easy. Made a can to my dimensions for it too.

On the note of trumpet tooting. Heaps of Smiths (most in fact) Have a testimonials section to their website and this is no different. What's the problem?

Cheers Abe for the work you have done on my remington Titanium in 6.5x47Lapua couldnt be happier! shot it for the first time this morning and the result a group under 1/4 moa from a new barrel at 200m. Abe rebarreled, rechambered ,trued the action, rebbed the action and knox, fitted a suppressor, fitted and lapped rings and worked up a load for the 130grn berger. Excellent fit and finish. Thanks

Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts

Abe whipped up the compensator and the end for the barrel. Great job on both items. If you want gunsmithing done go to him, you wont regret it.

He's pretty handy with starving baby Pandas too so I hear.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds
