Ive been tossing up whether to buy here in oz or darfield but looking at the range in canterbury(or lack of) im better off buying here in victoria, more range to choose from and the offer is cheaper

I got the knock-off UB Button Release (https://ultraviewarchery.com/product...40023692017745) for around $130 NZD from AliExpress. It feels very solid and after a few hundred arrows I can tell you it is an amazing release. I watched some reviews on it and even the YouTubers that were trying to knock it sort of admitted that it's virtually identical to the "official" one. If something is actually machined in the US then I can understand paying $500+ for it, but I feel like a lot of archery products are made in China and then companies slap on their logo and charge 5x the price for them just because they can.

Originally I had bought a more traditional wrist release from one of the NZ archery shops for $85 + shipping only to find the exact same release made by the exact same company for only $15 and free shipping on AliExpress. I'm all for supporting NZ businesses but there is a point where it becomes just a huge ripoff.
