    Recurve or long bow

As the title suggests, after suggestions for a good hunting recurve or long bow. Leaning more towards the compact and packability of the recurve but I do like the long bows as well so it ruling them out yet. Any suggestions much appreciate.

Recurve and no sight aids, practise instinctively

Hybrid (reflex/reflex) longbow can be very short and have qualities of both recurve and longbow.

hey mate, stick shooter supplies is good to deal with, be worth a call. id go one of the cheaper ones to start with (wont be much of an accuracy or speed difference from a high end one just not as nice in the hand) if you enjoy it then splash out on something fancy. if your a lefty ive got a 2piece longbow you can have a play with.

Have the same bow. Sometimes don't shoot it for months but its bloody fun and addictive when you pick it up and go down the instinctive rabbit hole for a while

@c-dog we shoot archery down at the shooting centre on Creyke Rd every Wednesday night from 7pm. Pop on down for a look. 18m indoor over winter and with daylight saving we shoot outside to just about whatever range you want.
