On par for a 6" barrel. I shot a S&W mod 28 4" loose in 1980 with those sorts of velocities. Great fun.

loaded some 110gr Blitz King Sierra's with W296 23/24gr from memory out of a Ruger GP 100 (6")bbl. Man did they go. Didn't chrony them but the next shooting bay were very disconcerted with the bang & muzzle blast/sonic wave while they were trying to shoot silhouette. Much fun and very impressive.

I blew the felt of a mates fancy rest doing that.
Was thinking the same. Must have surely I managed to do it on a very similar bag (that wasn't mine) with 130 PF 9mm

Funny you should say.I also shot my .45 and yes,it blew a hole in it.
I have a little room left powderwise, but I was expecting more velocity.
If anyone has a double action .44 taking up space don't hesitate to shout.

If you are after velocity then the 8-3/8" barrel is the way to go. I haven't clocked my full house .357 loads but I get 1500 fps with a 245gr hard cast swc in my .44 M29 using Elmer's favourite load of 22 grains of 2400. I have shot three rounds into 1-3/4" at 100 metres (2 handed rest) with that load.
