Yep that is crazy fast. I wonder how many tens of thousands of rounds they have fired to get that fast?
The thing is, like racing, it's easy to get to a certain speed, then it gets harder and harder for diminishing gains. I spent a lot of time on steel last year and was getting smoke and hope down in the low 2 second mark, with my fastest run at 2.01.
These guys are doing it in 1.7 or there abouts, it would take a lot of time to drop that extra 3 tenths of a second.
Yep I hear you. I was watching a Max Michel video and he said he started shooting at 7 or something and would spend a couple of hours dry firing every night. That and being on the Army shooting team for 10 years or so would give him heaps of time to get fast.
I haven't got a hope.
You said "work".... that's a word up there with politics and religion....
Enjoyment, relaxation, kicking r93; - all a much better teaching/ motivational approach.. :)
After what l learned last time, Oz can kick me all he wants. 😆
Just watching how fast the fucker moves and transitions has had me working overtime on my fitness.
Don't know what I could do about my clumsiness but I am fitter and lighter than I have been for a while 😆
Like the old cliche in sport, do the simple things well and the rest will follow. I hope to one day be fast and accurate enough to overcome my lack of coordination. But that might be wishful thinking 😆

Yep working on a few things. Been using my wife's Ratans to try and build up arm strength and co-ordination. Also been looking at a few drills to improve foot speed.
Don't forget to work on moving in different directions. Everyone has a tendancy to practice the things they like/ that are easy. Work on moving left, right, uprange going left and right, and downrange. As well as reloads every way.
I'm still surprised how many people I see planning a stage around being able to reload going the direction they like. Even when that plan is stupid.
Saw a good drill where there are 4 boxes in a square about 15yd apart. You have to fire a shot at a plate from each square. You have to move after every shot even if you miss. Keep going until you've shot 10 plates. I'll see if I can find the video.
I like the "polish plate" rack. Have not seen one of those. Looks like fun
