    WTB PISTOL

Hello lads, I've recently been issued my endorsement and now I'm on the lookout for my first pistol.

I'm looking for something in 22lr, semi - open to about anything similar to PPQ/M&P

    Cheers

Try before you buy, a lot of .22s are a bit average.

The rugers tend to be decent

Thanks mate! I've had a blast with a few from the club. i do agree the rugers are probably the best, at least bang for buck. However, they look just too similar to something from the jetsons for my taste haha

If I were you I would head into delta mike and have a look at ruger mark iv and the sig p322 . See how they feel side by side . My target , general plinking pistol is the ruger . But by the time you put a volquartsen trigger in etc it’s getting pricy than magazines . They have been unavailable for a very long time so if getting mark iv 22/45 get extra magazines asap
The sig has 3 20 round magazines with optics cut . Alternatively you could look at a good 22 conversion for whatever 9mm you get . My shadow is currently looking for one . Hit Caleb up at guncity Christchurch ask him for a deal on a kadet he has in stock , the only drawback is it only has one magazine . The actual complete pistols feed much better . I had a very good gunsmith recommended Gsg /sig 1911 22s 85% or close to it interchangeable parts with 1911. Need to tune the magazines . He has several himself so he puts his money where his mouth is . I do know of a gsg with about five magazines for around 600 . I would have to check on availability but it was still there a couple of months ago

Browning Buckmark are great little guns. I would recommend them over Ruger.
    Overkill is still dead.
