Book max on that is 45.5gr so would no doubt be dangerous in some rifles.

Don't forget too take a Bic lighter if you're bush hunting and use it often to check the breeze direction. Even the very faintest of breezes will be fatal (for your chances) if it's on your tail.

I bet you won't find a carbon stock remotely comparable to the Sako Carbonlite one for durability and strength. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCGOESNyvIY&t=3s ...

I use both the 6.5 CM and the .308 for different hunting. The Creedmoor is great for longer open country shooting with 130 - 143 gr bullets on lighter deer such as sika, fallow and average sized...

The Leupold VX 3i 3.5-10 CDS is also a nice light scope that would be well matched on the Forbes .308.

The original Sako rings are very good and look great on the older Vixen and Forrester rifles.

It's always amazed me the amount of kiwis who pronounce "Anschutz" as "Anschultz". Must be a hangover from Shultz on "Hogan's Heroes".

Yes, my mistake didn't see that about the scope. No, not suppressed. I don't want to destroy the balance of the rifle (just my ears).
