I have a Tikka T3x and the throat is quite long and the magazine is M+ so you can seat the bullets well out. This drops the pressure so with my particular Tikka I can load in more powder and get...

I always resize after bullet pulling as the neck tension usually gets screwed up. No need to de-cap the primers.

Can't help you with the stock but I wouldn't go with the stainless baffle as it adds weight and isn't necessary on a bolt action with it's slow rate of fire.

Same experience here Chris. My Tikka T3x 6.5cm can seat the 143 ELD-X to the lands easily and still mag feed. One thing I've noticed is that that model in 6.5 CM now comes with a 22" barrel in NZ...

Tikka T3x Superlight 6.5 Creedmoor. It'll be very accurate straight out of the box, have an excellent trigger and a super slick bolt. DPT make a nice chassis stock. I personally don't see the point...

Jit, your carbon wrapped barrel would account for most of the weight difference in your comparison. Also, the aluminium Talley lightweight mounts vs the steel Optilock ringmounts make a difference...

Moa Hunter liked post by 10-Ring On thread : Sako 75 halfcock
The half bolt is definitely not anywhere near 100% safe. I remember reading about a half bolt chap who fell down a bank and ended up with the muzzle of his .308 under his chin, the bolt closed and a...

Out of interest what 6.5 cartridge are you using for your tests? You can adjust your FL die to just bump the case shoulder back .001". Wouldn't bother with neck turning unless you have a tight...
